Provider Satisfaction
This is an ongoing study for a major health plan to assess the satisfaction of physicians, physician's office managers, and hospital administrators. IntelliQ Health worked with the client to develop a list of custom-tailored metrics, which more accurately described each provider's thought process and allowed the client to set real world, actionable goals for improvement.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES

This study was conducted for a biotech company that is developing a bone grafting product. The respondents for this research were orthopedic surgeons from across the United States. The study identified the level of acceptance for this new product and the various applications for which it would be most appropriate.

Medical Product Acceptance
This study was conducted for a large medical device manufacturer to determine how to grow market share for a new line of imaging products. Data was collected from healthcare providers nationally (both customers and lost customers were studied). The study revealed significant new areas of opportunity and ways the products could be competitively re-positioned in the market including pricing.

Patient Transfer System
Patient transfers in both acute care and long-term care facilities is a significant problem with risks both to patients and professional caregivers. We worked with a manufacturer to test a wide variety of newly developed patient transfer products to ascertain which provided the lowest risk for patients as well as reduced injuries for caregivers. Our research led to the development and introduction of a new product line for the movement and transfer of patients.

The findings revealed significant needs with regard to an optimum drug regimen protocol. The results were later published in a leading international juried medical journal.

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

Family Caregiving
Family members are often called upon to provide at-home care for loved ones. This is particularly challenging as care recipients often suffer from chronic or debilitating conditions requiring round-the-clock care. Our company worked with clinical researchers to develop a data collection plan, recruited family caregivers, collected the data, completed the analysis, and wrote a draft manuscript now under consideration for publication.
