Our Leadership Team includes:

Robert Miller, Ph.D - President/CEO 
Dr. Miller has extensive experience in the healthcare field and is a frequent speaker, writer and thought leader. He also has a strong background in research methods including pricing research, perceptual mapping, segmentation analysis, the patient experience, nurse engagement, multi-cultural competence, health informatics, and other research approaches. Some of the key topics of interest are virtual health (telehealth), access to care, cost transparency in healthcare, health informatics, multi-cultural competence in healthcare, and pediatric care. He holds a Ph.D. in communications research from Penn State and a B.A./M.A. in humanities from West Virginia University.

Bert Kollaard, M.S. - Vice President
In addition to a very strong foundational skills in marketing research and competitive intelligence, Mr. Kollaard brings a unique mix of more than 30 years of Fortune 1000 corporate, as well as consulting/agency and entrepreneurial start-up global leadership experience in B2B and B2C product and services development, marketing, strategic planning and business development. He has especially deep industry specific knowledge in healthcare. He holds a master's degree in social and applied economics from Wright State University where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing and Management for the College of Business.

Joshua Rand – Vice President of Strategy/Analytics
While serving in healthcare analytics, strategy, innovation and policy roles for a global Fortune 18 healthcare corporation, Mr. Rand provided senior leadership with actionable insight recommendations and data-fueled strategies to help IDN’s, Hospitals, Children’s Hospitals, Heart Clinics, Surgeon Groups, and Physician Offices address their most complex business challenges.  While at CardinalHealth, he designed multiple analytical models for the Executive Selling Organization which resulted in over $712M of new or retained business for which he was awarded the Innovator of the Year award.  As a subject matter expert on the Affordable Care Act, he served as an appointee to Governor John Kasich's, Ohio Office of Health Transformation Committee where Mr. Rand worked with physicians, payers, employers, patient advocacy groups and corporations in tackling big healthcare issues through consumer-oriented strategies, analytics around value-based care models, and innovative population health initiatives. He holds a degree in Pre-Medicine from Bowling Green State University.

Elaine Miller, PhD, RN, CRRN, FAAN, FAHA – Clinical Consultant
Dr. Miller has deep expertise in research design, medical intervention development, evaluation of program outcomes, and skills in designing and executing mixed methods approaches. She is also editor of Pain Management Nursing and former editor of Rehabilitation Nursing. She has been principal investigator in multiple federally funded healthcare studies. Her areas of interest are pain management, virtual reality simulations, stroke, and family caregiving. She is highly regarded in the healthcare field, is a frequent speaker, and widely published. In addition to BSN and MSN, she holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Indiana University. She is also on faculty in the College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati.
